Accessibility Statement 🎀

Last updated: August 2, 2026

A shopping guide is no fun if you can’t use it. The Pinkery should work whether you browse with a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, or your voice. Here’s where we stand — including the parts we haven’t finished yet.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark most commonly applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

What we support

We check our pages against current screen readers (NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android), modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), operating-system zoom and magnification, and voice-control tools.

Known gaps — the honest list

We’d rather tell you than let you find out the hard way:

Tell us what’s broken

If something here doesn’t work for you, please email hello@thepinkery.com. It helps if you can mention the page, what you were trying to do, and what browser or assistive technology you were using — but please write to us even if you don’t have those details. We aim to reply within a few business days, and reported barriers go to the top of the list.

Want our picks another way? Ask and we’ll send them as plain text or large print, free.

If we don’t fix it

If we don’t resolve your concern, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice ADA complaint portal, which enforces Title III of the ADA, or with your state attorney general’s consumer-protection office. You don’t have to come to us first — but we’d genuinely like the chance to fix it.

Ongoing work

Accessibility isn’t a one-time project. We check new pages before they go up, and we’ll update this statement as we close the gaps listed above or as the standards change. 💗
